Noora Noor, a Somalian-Norwegian neo soul singer, was born on July 8th, 1979 in Dubai. Her family moved to Norway when she was 9 years old. Noor signed a contract with Warner Records and released two albums, 'Curious' and 'All I Am'. She also played the role of Mary Magdalene in 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. Noor's third album, 'Soul', was recorded in the USA with American musicians and was released in 2009 to critical acclaim.
